Reverend James C. Simmons and Rise Up Rochester, Incorporated express their sincere condolences to the family of Ms. Audrey Smith who passed away on February 10, 2016. After the murder of her son, Ricky, Ms. Smith turned her pain into a movement that helped others who had experienced similar loss known as Families and Friends of Murdered Victims and their Children. Rise Up Rochester, Inc. stands on Ms. Smith’s shoulder’s and will continue to honor her as we work to establish and maintain a nonviolent culture.
